Bridges Ministry Fundraising Update: Building Hope in Tanzania

We are grateful to share an important milestone in our Tanzania Dormitory Campaign. Thanks to your generosity—and the recent $60,000 transfer to the Sisters of Notre Dame—the debt on the boys’ dormitory at Osotwa School has now been fully retired. This is a tremendous moment for the mission, freeing the Sisters to move forward without the burden of past construction costs.
With the boys’ dormitory debt now paid in full, we turn our focus to the next essential step: building a new girls’ dormitory, estimated at $179,000. This dormitory will provide a safe and supportive home for girls who currently walk long distances each day to attend school, often facing real risks along the way.
As of today, October 13, 2026, Bridges Ministry holds $26,609.05 dedicated to this next phase of the campaign. Every gift now goes directly toward creating a secure, dignified living environment for the girls of Osotwa School.
Your generosity continues to build hope—brick by brick, child by child. Together, we are strengthening the mission of the Sisters of Notre Dame and opening doors of opportunity for Tanzania’s students.
Thank you for walking with us.
